Technical Endurance Soccer Training is a unique training program designed to improve technique and help develop the fundamental skills of todays youth soccer players.

TEST was founded by Thurstan Johnson, a former professional soccer player for the Tampa Bay Rowdies. Growing up in the Tampa Bay area, and now coaching at the youth and high school levels, he realized that most youth players are inadequately prepared to pursue soccer at the college level. Todays youth soccer communities are all about winning and results, little emphasis is placed on player development.Where does this leave your child? Too often a player gets left behind in the technical areas of the game, causing them to fall behind teammates and other players. Having the basic fundamentals of proper technical training can help better your child's youth soccer experience.

As a result, most players get frustrated with this current system of youth communities causing them to fall short of their soccer potential. Here at TEST, I have branched out to develop a routine and training environment that values the individual player. After several years of individual training my outlook on player development is as strong as ever.

Having been both a collegiate and professional soccer player, I have the knowledge to teach the games physical and mental aspects, which helps players understand how to differentiate between the two. Throughout my playing and coaching careers, I have learned that so much emphasis is placed on the physical aspect of the game and rightfully so. However, having trained myself and numerous players, I realized that the mental aspect of the game is what truly separates players.
